Staff Data Scientist
Kris is a data scientist who specializes in solving complex, process-based spatiotemporal problems. Prior to joining KoBold, he developed enterprise software to predict oil and gas production for shale plays at Novi Labs and built tailor-made geospatial intelligence solutions for governmental agencies and insurance companies using remote sensing data at Slingshot Aerospace. At KoBold, he leads the data science efforts for the sedimentary-hosted copper exploration projects. His doctoral work focused on reactive transport modeling of hydrocarbons in cold, marine environments.
Kris earned his Ph.D. in Geophysics at the University of Texas at Austin, and his M.S. in Geophysical Sciences at the University of Chicago.
