End-of-Year Town Hall at Mingomba Celebrates Accomplishments of Employees with 2025 Awards

Last December was the 2025 Mingomba Town Hall, an annual end-of-year celebration for the commitment and hard work of everyone that works in and around our campus. It’s when we express our gratitude and appreciation of everyone’s contributions to Mingomba Mining Ltd, including our stunning safety metric of No LTI all of last year!

We are grateful to all on-site staff, contractors, partners and community members who keep moving us towards our goals to build a great mine. We took time to have a live vote with everyone participating in appreciating their colleagues with special recognition awards for:

Safety Champion of the Year – Community – Happy Mushili

“Receiving this Safety Award means a lot to me. From the time I joined the KoBold project, I have tried my best to follow all safety rules and do my work the right way. Winning this award shows me that my efforts are being seen and appreciated. I always try to lead toolbox talks, point out hazards, and remind my co-workers to work safely. I will continue putting safety first so that everyone goes home safely each day.

I will continue strengthening safety at Mingomba by reminding everyone about safety, especially during our Monday meetings and before we start work. I make sure Take 5s and JSAs are done properly on site, and I always check that everyone is following the safety rules. Safety is important to me, and I will keep encouraging my team to work safely every day.”

Safety Champion of the Year – Contractor – Capital Drilling

“This recognition is not just a trophy—it is a reflection of your discipline, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to doing every task the safest way possible. Every safe decision you made, every hazard you reported, every time you looked out for a colleague—all of it brought us here.

You’ve shown that safety is not luck, and it’s not a slogan. It’s a culture we live every single day.

Thank you for choosing to work responsibly, professionally, and with pride. Your actions have protected lives, protected our equipment, and strengthened our reputation as a team that leads

This award proves what we are capable of when we stay focused, united, and committed. But our journey doesn’t stop here. We will continue setting the benchmark.”
