Fred Durand is the Director of Shaft Construction at KoBold Zambia. His career in shaft sinking and underground construction spans over three decades, having worked at Anglo American, Grinaker-LTA, and Murray & Roberts Cementation. Some of the most notable projects he’s worked on include the KDMP 4 Shaft, Mufulira Deeps, the Synclinorium Shaft Project, Otjikoto Mine highwall and decline establishment, and PMC Ventilation Shaft Project.
